Black Bottom Banana Bars
Best of both worlds – this is a great cross between a banana bread and a brownie! Sometimes I throw a handful of chocolate chips in the bottom layer to bring it up a notch. It’s a delicious afternoon snack for the kids. Try ‘em!

|1 cup sugar||1 tsp baking powder|
|1 egg||1 tsp baking soda|
|1 tsp vanilla extract||1/2 tsp salt|
|1 1/2 cups ripe bananas (3 medium)||1/4 cup baking cocoa|
