Autumn leaves are beautiful to look at, they can be a literal pain to clear out of the yard.  Fall cleaning can leave many of us feeling sore and achy, or maybe even worse, so here are some safety tips to follow when raking up those lovely leaves.

Stay Pain Free While Raking This Fall

Starling’s Vernon Pediatrics will offer a walk-in hour Monday-Friday starting October 3.

In an effort to always be there when your child needs us, Vernon Pediatrics will offer a walk-in hour Monday – Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. for patients who develop symptoms over the last 24 hours.  To ensure a timely visit, patients should plan to arrive between 8-8:30 a.m.  It will be closed on major holidays.

OB/GYN in Hartford is moving to 100 Retreat Ave., Suite 400 on Oct.1.  They will no longer be at 85 Seymour St.

COVID Testing Hours

Testing is available at 300 Kensington Ave. in New Britain on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45am – 3:45pm. Appointments are required. Please contact your provider’s office first since they will need to order the test.  



Meet Our New Providers

Starling Spotlight

Starling is pleased to once again have a provider focused on Interventional Spine & Pain Management.  Welcome Dr. Ojas Mainkar who is accepting patients in New Britain. 
Dr. Mainkar takes a holistic, patient-centered approach when developing treatment plans for his patients. When appropriate, he will perform fluoroscopically-guided injections and other minimally-invasive procedures to help patients reduce pain and optimize their functionality.
Within the field of pain management Dr. Mainkar has a special interest in treating neck and back pain. He has authored several textbook chapters and publications in top pain management journals covering topics in interventional spine and neuromodulation techniques.
