Dr. Geddis has recently retired. We are grateful for her devotion and commitment to helping families for over 30 years.
Members of our pediatric team will see patients in Plainville on select days:
- Chelsey Paholski, PA-C will see patients in Plainville on Fridays starting in March.
- Evelyne Sousa will see patients in Plainville on Thursdays starting in April
- Nancy Yip will see patients in Plainville on Wednesdays starting in April
Our pediatric providers in New Britain and Newington also welcome patients of Dr. Geddis. Please call our office at (860) 224-6282.
Below is a letter that Dr. Geddis shared to her beloved patients and families:
To My Parents and Patients,
It is with bittersweet emotions that I am sending you this letter announcing my retirement. I have been working at Starling, formerly Grove Hill, for thirty years. I have enjoyed every year doing what I love – pediatrics.
To my parents:
It has been a great pleasure knowing and partnering with you on the care of your child(ren). My hope is that you will continue your pediatric care at Starling. Experienced members of our Starling pediatrics team will now be providing care in our Plainville office. Our pediatricians in New Britain and Newington are also available to welcome you. To my patients – the little children to the twenty-one-year-olds:
I have enjoyed helping your parents keep you healthy and watching you grow. I have known many of you from birth to adulthood. Some of you transitioned to Adult Medicine and returned to Pediatrics as a parent with your own child(ren). Thank you for such a great honor.
I wanted to be a pediatrician at age nine. Thank you for allowing me to be your pediatrician. I wish you all good health and happiness, and I will miss you. I live in the community, so we might see each other at the grocery store, the park, or a myriad of places. Let’s greet each other, and once the pandemic is done, give each other a hug.
