Don’t Forget Your Mammogram!
October 20, 2021October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Early detection of breast cancer is important as it is associated with an increased number of available treatment options, increased survival, and improved quality of life.
You may receive an email from our team if our records indicate that you are due for a screening mammogram this year. Your health is important to us. This includes ensuring that you receive all preventive screenings. For women ages 50 to 74, a mammogram is recommended to screen for the presence of breast cancer.
If you have not had a mammogram this year, please call your OB/GYN provider or our office to schedule one. Or, contact us if you have any questions about important steps to keep yourself healthy and well.
If you have recently had a mammogram and receive an email saying that you have not done one this year, please call our office to let us know this has been completed and we can record the date of your exam in our records.
