Yasmeen earned her undergraduate degree at Central Connecticut State University in 2019, then went on to earn her graduate degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  She holds certifications from Basic Life Support, the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  She has also worked as a registered nurse on the postpartum unit at Hartford Hospital. 

Yasmeen is a first-generation American and speaks Arabic fluently.  She has aided those in impoverished communities both in the United States and abroad to improve access to medical care.  Working with different communities has aided her ability to treat medical ailments and gain social-emotional awareness that she is proud to bring to the job every day.

Yasmeen prides herself on her empathy toward her patients and providing the best care during each encounter.

When she is not tending to patients she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, crafting and baking.
