Maria Turturici, APRN, FNP-C, is a valued member of the Internal Medicine team. She strives to be a provider who treats every patient with dignity, empathy, and high-quality care.
Throughout her nursing career, Maria has mainly worked in general and internal medicine. She focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, including managing acute and chronic illnesses in adults, often with complex medical conditions. Maria believes in respect, communication, empathy, and evidence-based practice.
During a patient visit, Maria’s priority is to deliver safe, effective, holistic patient-centered care. She wants her patients to feel comfortable discussing their concerns. She says, “It’s important that they leave the visit feeling heard and understood, and that their needs and concerns were addressed and met.”
When not working, Maria spends most of her time with her three children. She enjoys being part of and volunteering for school activities and functions. She loves cooking and being outdoors, dreaming of traveling to see all the beauty the world has to offer. Maria is especially passionate about mental health awareness and improving accessible resources.
