Kesone Telfer, DNP, APRN, FNP- BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the ANCC. She has always been interested in healthcare because it allows her to reach patients at the core of their needs and make a difference in their health outcomes.

Kesone enjoys working with the adult population, caring for their primary care needs. Her philosophy is “patient before problems,” acknowledging patients as people before recognizing their problems. She strongly believes that patients are not their conditions; rather, they have a condition.

During a visit with a patient, it is very important for Kesone to hear and understand what the patient is conveying. She says, “I enjoy working with patients and helping them to attain wellness. It is very fulfilling to see the impact of my work on their health and well-being.”

When she is not caring for patients, Kesone enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden, shopping, and writing poetry. She is also passionate about education, believing that without knowledge, there is no growth.
