Biography

Kenda Alkwatli, MD, pursued a career in healthcare because she finds helping people deeply rewarding. She specializes in general endocrinology, diagnosing and treating various hormone-related conditions. Dr. Alkwatli has a particular passion for adrenal and pituitary disorders, as well as addressing obesity and metabolic disorders.

Dr. Alkwatli’s philosophy in patient care is to empower patients by thoroughly explaining their conditions, so they feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions. “During a visit, my priority is to listen closely to my patients to fully understand their symptoms and challenges. This approach helps me accurately diagnose and create a treatment plan tailored to their needs,” she says.

What Dr. Alkwatli enjoys most is making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives and supporting them through their health challenges. “Knowing I can offer guidance and be a source of support during difficult times is incredibly fulfilling,” she says.

Outside of work, Dr. Alkwatli enjoys baking and participating in outdoor activities. She is especially passionate about empowering women, supporting immigrant health, and advocating for minorities and diversity in healthcare. She believes that everyone deserves access to compassionate and inclusive care.
