Biography

Jacob Silver, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper-extremity care. He treats conditions affecting the entire upper extremity, from the fingertip and hand through the wrist, elbow, and shoulder. His clinical interests include traumatic and degenerative conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, as well as nerve-related conditions and shoulder arthroplasty.

Dr. Silver earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Connecticut. He then completed a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Silver takes a patient-centered approach to treatment, working with each patient to understand their goals and develop an individualized treatment plan.

Dr. Silver is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking with his wife and two sons in the White Mountains and watching Buffalo Bills football.
