Christopher Sales, MD, is a member of the Starling Physicians’ Ophthalmology team. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine and completed advanced training at leading institutions, including Harvard and Stanford. Prior to joining Starling Physicians, Dr. Sales held clinical faculty positions at Weill Cornell Medicine and the University of Iowa.

Dr. Sales is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over a decade of experience. He specializes in cataract surgery, minimally invasive corneal transplants, and vision correction, including treatment for nearsightedness with the EVO ICL. He has particular expertise in Fuchs dystrophy and DMEK surgery and has been recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to advanced eye care by organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

At the heart of Dr. Sales’ practice is a commitment to patient-focused care and education. He believes in a thoughtful, patient-centered approach and takes the time to tailor each treatment plan to the individual. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, traveling with his family, and pursuing his passion for medical technology innovation.
