Dr. Amy Lunding was born and raised in Connecticut. She received a B.A. in History from Yale University. After graduation, Dr. Lunding ran learning centers for children in New York City. Later, she attended the pre-medical program at Columbia University. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 2009, Dr. Lunding was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed her medical training in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital and was awarded the Steven Shell Award. This award is given annually in recognition of an uncompromising commitment to internal medicine and the best interests of patients. Dr. Lunding has been practicing internal medicine in the Hartford area since 2012.
