Alicia Kolacz, APRN, FNP-C, chose a career in healthcare because of her experience caring for her elderly grandparents. She loved being able to care for them and decided to pursue this as a career. Prior to becoming an APRN, Alicia worked in the Emergency Room for seven years. This is where she discovered her passion for taking care of the OBGYN patient population and decided upon this specialty.

Alicia believes in treating every patient as an individual and keeps her care patient-centered. She treats every patient as if they were a friend or family member and always has their best interest in mind. She says, “I want my patients to feel heard so we can both leave the appointment feeling a sense of accomplishment. I like to work together to come up with a plan that works for both of us.”

What Alicia enjoys most about her work is developing long-term relationships with her patients. She loves the variety of patients that she sees, whether they are going off to college, struggling with infertility, having their third baby, or beginning menopause. Alicia wants to be there to help women through all stages of their life.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys boating, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is passionate about holistic care and believes that health is influenced by a complex relationship of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors, and that all these elements must be considered when providing care.
