Pulmonology & Critical CarePhysiciansLocations

Pulmonology is the subspecialty of internal medicine that deals with diseases of the lungs and chest. Our board-certified pulmonologists treat respiratory diseases, the most common of which include asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and lung cancer. We also treat shortness of breath, chronic cough, and many other lung conditions including cystic fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. Our doctors provide critical care medicine to patients in the ICU at Hartford Hospital and The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

Our pulmonary experts diagnose and treat diseases of the lungs using various testing methods to make the diagnosis, establish the extent of disease, and determine the appropriate therapy.

Available Services:

  • Pre-operative lung evaluations
  • Diagnoses and management of respiratory conditions
  • Lung function testing
  • Evaluation of pulmonary nodules
  • Critical care medicine
  • Treatment of COPD, asthma, sarcoidosis, and interstitial lung disease
  • Pulmonary fibrosis

Pulmonary experts also provide care in the area of sleep medicine, which includes treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, parasomnias, and insomnia. To learn more about our Sleep Medicine Department, click here
