Vishal Kochar, MD, is a member of Starling Physician’s Family Medicine team. He pursued a career in healthcare to help and heal those in need, both physically and emotionally. Dr. Kochar finds working in healthcare both challenging and rewarding.

Dr. Kochar is an expert in many areas, including annual preventative exams, anxiety, depression, various cancer screenings, diabetes management, women’s healthcare, and disease prevention. He also treats conditions like hyperlipidemia, hypertension, thyroid disorders, back pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, arthritis, rashes, GI issues, weight loss, and anemia. He takes a holistic approach to patient care, recognizing that all body systems are connected.

Dr. Kochar listens carefully to his patients’ concerns and never rushes them. “The most important thing to me during a patient’s visit is for them to realize I truly care about them and their health,” he says. “I want us to be a team to help my patients be the best they can be both physically and mentally.”

Outside of work, Dr. Kochar is an avid golfer and hockey player. He is also a dedicated father and husband. His interests and hobbies outside of his field help him maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
