Victor Wang, MD, was born and raised in Connecticut. He completed both his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Rochester, followed by residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where he served as Chief Resident. He is proud to return home to care for his local community, bringing his expertise as a dedicated ophthalmologist.

Dr. Wang provides comprehensive eye care for adults, with a special focus on cataract surgery and glaucoma management. He performs a wide range of procedures, including in-office laser treatments and advanced microinvasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).
At the heart of Dr. Wang’s practice is patient-centered care. “I provide patients with the facts and professional guidance they need to make informed decisions,” he explains. “Patients make the best choices when they understand their health, and my role is to make that clarity possible.” He finds it especially rewarding to see the joy on patients’ faces when their vision is restored after surgery.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wang has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in ophthalmology journals and has presented at regional and national meetings. Passionate about continuous learning, he stays current with the latest research and clinical developments to deliver the most advanced, evidence-based care.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys fencing and traveling to explore new places and cuisines.
