Dr. Marc Ramirez grew up in Illinois and is a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. Even after 16 years of living in the northeast, he is mystified by the whole Yankees/ Red Sox rivalry. He attended college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He is an avid University of Michigan Wolverines fan.

He attended medical school at the University of Illinois and did a pediatric residency at Tulane Hospital for Children/ Charity Hospital/ Ochsner.

Upon completing his residency in 2002, he joined Grove Hill Pediatrics, now Starling Pediatrics. He is affiliated with The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain and The Connecticut Children’s Hospital in Hartford.

Hobbies include travelling and comparing foodie notes with fellow pediatrician, Dr. Leong, on where to dine out in Connecticut.
