Dr. Kyla D’Angelo is originally from the Hudson Valley in New York. She attended Iona College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Mathematics prior to earning her medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at Nassau University Medical Center, the only public hospital in Nassau County, Long Island.

Dr. D’Angelo’s special interests in Cardiology include echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography. She has had her research presented and published at the national level with the American College of Cardiology. She is currently a member of the American College of Cardiology, Women in Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Medical Association. She is affiliated with Hartford Hospital.

Dr. D’Angelo lives in West Hartford with her husband and their cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, watching basketball, as well as traveling and learning new cultures.
