Jessica Jacques-Goodman, OD, is a member of the Starling Physicians’ Ophthalmology team. She is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist committed to delivering personalized, high-quality eye care. With a Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a general science minor from Eastern Michigan University, Dr. Jacques-Goodman combines a strong educational foundation with hands-on expertise to address her patients’ diverse needs.

Dr. Jacques-Goodman brings over a decade of experience to her work. Her career spans a variety of settings, including spearheading myopia control programs, collaborating with ophthalmologists on complex cases, and mentoring the next generation of optometrists. She also served as the Director of Optometry at the Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic in Michigan, where she founded an optometry program to serve uninsured and underserved populations. Her efforts provided hundreds of patients with diagnostic care, vision treatment, and corrective eyewear.

When Dr. Jacques-Goodman is not caring for patients, she enjoys reading fiction, traveling with her family, and playing frisbee with her dogs.
