Brett Kjellen, OD, is a member of the Starling Physicians’ Ophthalmology team. He attended Eastern Connecticut State University for his undergraduate studies in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry as well as a degree in Visual Science from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2000. Dr. Kjellen completed his internships with honors at the Olympia Fields Hospital and Medical Center in Illinois, the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, and the White River Junction VA Medical Center in Vermont.

Dr. Kjellen joined Ratchford Eye Center in 2012. Before that, he practiced primary eye care in Meriden, CT. He currently serves patients at the Berlin office.

When not working, Dr. Kjellen enjoys golf, hiking, and spending time with his wife, son, and their rescue dog.
