Anna Manetta, MD, is a dedicated OB/GYN specialist. Before becoming a doctor, she studied chemical engineering at Northeastern University and subsequently worked in the biotech industry. She missed having a personal connection with the patients she was working to help, so she decided to pursue medicine to build those relationships and continue to solve complex problems. She attended medical school at Boston University and completed her residency at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Manetta cares for patients at every stage of life, from adolescence through post-menopause. She believes in understanding each patient as an individual. Her treatment plans reflect their personal goals, values, and priorities. “Trust is built through open and honest communication,” Dr. Manetta says. “My priority is creating a safe, respectful space where each patient feels heard.”
What Dr. Manetta enjoys most about her work is being there for her patients through both joyful milestones and difficult moments. “It is a privilege to support patients in feeling comfortable and confident in their own bodies,” she says.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Manetta loves swimming, traveling, and experiencing new cultures. Most of all, she cherishes spending time with her husband and their dog, Otis. She is also passionate about advocating for trauma-informed care and protecting reproductive rights. She firmly believes everyone deserves the ability to make informed choices about their own bodies and futures.
