August 24, 2016Computed tomography (CT) of the body uses specialized X-ray equipment to help detect a variety of illnesses and conditions. CT scanning is fast, painless, noninvasive and accurate. In emergency cases, it can reveal internal injuries and bleeding quickly enough to help save lives.
Our Department of Radiology is now accredited to perform CT scans on our pediatric, as well as adult patients. CT scans complement our wide range of services including X-ray, MRI, ultrasounds, digital mammography, and bone density screenings. We are located at 300 Kensington Avenue in New Britain.
