Sherine Solomon, FNP-BC, CDE is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a certified Diabetes Educator with a broad range of experience. Sherine is originally from Jamaica where she lived until she immigrated to the US in 2007. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Hispanic Studies from Vassar College. She earned her master’s degree in Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Boston College.
Sherine joins Starling Physicians from Signature Healthcare in Brockton, Massachusetts and Bournewood Hospital in Brookline, Massachusetts. At Signature Healthcare, she provided endocrine care with an emphasis on patients with Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. At the Bournewood Hospital, she treated adults and adolescents with mental health and substance abuse conditions. Sherine previously worked as a family nurse practitioner providing primary care in a community health setting, as a researcher at the Joslin Diabetes Center, and as an emergency medical technician.
Sherine has a particular interest in obesity medicine and diabetes mellitus. She is a current member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical fiction, spending time with her family, and traveling.

- Treat patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders
- Perform patient assessments and order and review laboratory and radiological testing to determine appropriate treatment plans
