Biography
Dr. Kimberly Gygi is originally from Michigan. She completed her undergraduate work and obtained her medical degree from Michigan State University in Lansing. She served as chief resident during her family medicine residency in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She sees patients of all ages, but has special interest in geriatric medicine, women’s health, LGBTQ medicine, preventative care, and chronic disease management. Her goal is to provide the highest quality, most individualized, and thoroughly comprehensive care possible. With that in mind, Dr. Gygi is also pleased to offer a variety of procedures including joint injections, dermatological procedures, and trigger point injections. She also offers pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of hypertension and diabetes, as well as in-house diagnosis and management of chronic respiratory conditions in both children and adults.
Dr. Gygi lives in Simsbury with her family. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, and biking. She is also an avid reader of many different genres of fiction in addition to medical journals.
She offers evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturday morning hours twice a month.
