Dr. Sidra Azim went to medical school at Aga Khan University Medical College, where she obtained Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, and an Endocrinology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She has a special interest in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, osteoporosis, and adrenal and pituitary disorders. She has Specialist in Clinical Hypertension certification from the American Society of Hyperetension (ASH-SCH).
Dr. Azim is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society. She has worked on a number of research projects, which include “Clinico-pathological characteristics and outcomes of BRAF V600E-positive papillary thyroid cancer” and “Role of Fenofibrate in cardiovascular prevention”. She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
