Giving Back to the international community

This July, nurse midwife Pam Haskins is off to Tanzania. She is a volunteer with Jambo Tanzania – a non-profit humanitarian organization of volunteers founded in 1998 whose mission is to provide healthcare, education, and immunizations to the 2 million residents of the Kagera region of Tanzania. Pam will be providing gynecologic treatment, as well as pre-natal care. Starling staff supported this effort and donated 8 cartons of over-the-counter vitamins, medications, as well as dozens of reading glasses that will be shipped in advance to the Tanzania clinic. We wish Pam a safe journey.
