Christine Hill, APRN, OB/GYNFebruary 18, 2021
Christine earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Mount Holyoke College. Subsequently, in pursuit of a growing interest in healthcare, particularly women’s health, she pursued a second bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. As a registered nurse, Christine initially cared for her patients as a labor and delivery nurse for several years, then went on to earn a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut, which prepared her for certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation.
In this role, Christine has practiced in groups with obstetricians and midwives and, for the past several years, in a gynecologic clinic setting. She enjoys caring for women across their lifespans, from adolescence through post-menopause. She is skilled in the management of all contraceptive methods, including IUDs and the Nexplanon implant, and in the thorough evaluation and management of gynecologic conditions such as dysfunctional uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and menopause symptom management. She is certified to perform colposcopy for the evaluation of cervical dysplasia by the American Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology.
Christine feels that education is an important part of her role, and strives to ensure that her patients comfortably understand all aspects of their care. She was recently recognized as being in the top 10% of healthcare providers nationally, according to Press-Ganey patient satisfaction surveys. She is very excited to join Starling Physicians, enabling her to once again care for prenatal patients, and continue to provide gynecological care. Christine lives in Palmer, Massachusetts with her husband and daughter. In her free time she enjoys hiking and kayaking.View all New Providers
