Biography
Dr. Alfred Vichot specializes in hypertension, inherited kidney diseases, dialysis and transplant nephrology. Before joining Starling Physicians, he spent 4 years at Yale University where he completed a clinical and research fellowship in nephrology and authored several papers centered on hypertension, acute kidney injury, metabolic abnormalities, kidney transplantation and polycystic kidney disease. He completed his medical degree, internship, residency and chief residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. He also received a Master of Health Administration degree from the Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in North Carolina.
Dr. Vichot lives in West Hartford with his wife. He enjoys travel, cooking, and volunteering with the National Kidney Foundation.
